Shield of Mastery: Guidelines for Masters

There are so many teachings out there today, so many uncovered truths. Where do you start if you truly want to make progress on the road to spiritual mastery? Here you will find some actual practical guidelines by someone who has walked that very path. From ego-identity, to enlightenment and to the realms beyond. Perhaps you have heard one or two of these principles before, but the key to their success is not just hearing them... but living them. Almine humbly invites you to your own journey into mastery and hopes these beginning guidelines will be as a road map and travel buddy at the same time.


1. Don’t identify with your experiences:

No matter how profound a vision or an accomplishment, no matter what peak experiences you have had, today’s can be greater. The mastery of the cosmos is a mastery of self. This is a journey with never-ending horizons, a journey that is an epic adventure. Travel lightly, unencumbered by the weight of self-reflection.

 

2. Don’t define today by the truths of yesterday:

Grand and glorious Laws of Existence govern the cosmos, but today’s truths may not be yesterday’s truths. The cosmic laws are in a constant state of flux. In the application of what to you may seem an irrefutable truth, listen to your heart and value any feeling to the contrary over the insistence of your mind. Take nothing at face value. The heart always knows the highest truth because of its connection to Source and to the building blocks of existence.

 

3. Know yourself to be the only real being in your existence:

Everything around you is a reflection. Nothing can be experienced directly. The red rose you see is not actually seen directly but as a reflection of the red portion of light that came from the sun. it absorbs all but the red rays, bounding them back to enter your eye. You are connected to the mirrors of your environment through the unified field of your heart. By changing yourself, you change your environment.

 

4. Know your environment to be a fluid manifestation of what you are:

You are the epicenter of your universe. The environment around you fluidly re-configures itself as a reflection of you. Only belief systems and expectations make the changes less fluid, regarding the perfect manifestation of your environment as your mirror. A master has no belief system. Effortless knowing takes the place of thought; greatness takes the place of mediocrity.
