As strong opinions fly around the world regarding the recent verdict in the Casey Anthony trial, I am reminded of how fragile our beliefs are, and how easily they are influenced by our emotions and sense of right and wrong.
As we all strive for self growth and improvement, it is vital that we remember the core belief that we are creating exactly what we need for our own growth and lessons. As difficult as it may be to hold onto this belief when facing tragedy, trauma and senseless violence, it still applies, to all things in all circumstances.
All those involved in each and every situation have acted out their part in order to serve the higher good. That higher good is that these individuals may, in fact, step into a much higher state of self awareness and consciousness as a result of their actions.
We cannot discriminate, separating some off to the side with our judgements. This Universal truth applies to all of us, each and every moment of our lives.
The truth lesson, ultimately becomes one of forgiveness, compassion and understanding. Even when it appears that innocents sacrifice for the sake of others learning we must now fail to hold onto our deep beliefs that in the end, it was all for the good.
Let us remember to practice forgiveness and understanding, at all times.
